VIN CODE: N/A MISC: Optional Engine Data: 1978 Pontiac Firebird 400 bored .030 over. Stock crankshaft & rods. 6X heads. Cast pistons & rings. 8.0 to 1 compression. H.D. RA IV 60lb oil pump. Rebuilt by my husband & myself July 2003. Bought a 1972 Luxury LeMans in March of 2002 from the original owner (still have the original title). Started tearing out interior, and realized it needed more than my husband & I were able to do to it (It was left sitting outside all of these years, and must have had a vinyl top at one point as front & rear window channels are rusted & needed trunk pan & front passenger floor pan). So, started searching for something else. Looked at GTO's & LeMans 68-72...but I'm just got stuck on the 70-72 LeMans. Like the look of the nose & chrome bumpers vs. the endura front end. Still have the 72, complete w/the fender skirts. Using it for parts. Found my 1971 Pontiac LeMans Sport on the internet in April 2003 in Philadelphia, PA. (car from New Jersey - I am the fourth owner). I think my husband has created a monster.......I'm definitely stuck
