I bought the car with the "ducktail" spoiler on it. Blind luck, that's how I found the car. I bought the car in 1985 (17, senior in high school). I saw it for sale in the local auto trader. My father and I went to look at at it, I liked it, so we bought it (I did not even know how to drive stick yet). I bought the car to take to college, but one thing led to another (during the restoration) and it was too nice to take to school, so I left it at home and to this day, only enjoy driving it on the weekends, car shows, etc. Anyway, I have not had any luck finding another one. I have talked to several people who have claimed to have seen another or actually owned one, but no one has ever offered any proof to back up his/her claim. I took the car to the GTO Nationals in Witchita last summer and everyone I talked to said it was the only one they have ever seen. However, one guy said he knew of three (mine, one in New York, and I can't remember where the third one was). Its possible. I cannot believe mine is the only one left. Rumor has it 10-12 were made before production was cancelled in October of 1971. Mine was dealer installed.
