I read that "Ford dove gray" is a close match for between the beads and the back of
the RII rims. The front colors are (I think) Argent Silver and Charcoal Grey. This is a repost from Doug Mayer Argent Silver Ditzler enamel--DQE8568 Charcoal Grey Ditzler Enamel--DQE32947 I hope these work, I noticed the extra number in the charcoal code, hope he didn't write one of them down wrong! The following is a repost from Dick R. Try these Ditzler codes for Rally II wheels. I have painted a lot of wheels with these colors, especially with a gun. IMHO, they look really good: SPRAY CANS: Front (outer rim): Dupli-Color Steel Wheel Silver #T-120 The following paint is close, but may not offer a perfect match: Front (center): Plasti-Kote Rebuilders' Gray #285 (Can be clear coated with a semi-gloss clear for protection) SPRAY GUNS: Front (outer rim) Ditzler Non-smudge Aluminum #DDL-8658 Front (center) Ditzler Wheel Cover Charcoal #DDL-32947 Rear: Ditzler enamel mixing formula: #475- 6 Units #490- 106 Units #400- 272 Units #487- 442 Units #415- 447 Units #476- 457 Units #491- 477 Units #495- 497 Units #499- 1000 Units Or: Ditzler 1977 Ford Dove Gray #2847 (This color is a close match, and beats getting enamel overspray all over the garage) |
